Hounds of Rohozec

The Hounds of Rohozec is a drag hunting club, meaning that no live animals are hunted or harmed. Instead, a drag—scented with the odor of a fox—is used to simulate a natural hunting experience. The drag is laid in a manner that closely mimics a fox's movements, weaving through fields and incorporating natural obstacles such as ditches and logs. The route also includes a series of jumps, which participants may choose to either jump or bypass.

The hounds track the scent of the drag, while the horses follow the hounds. At the end of the drag, the hounds reach the "kill," where they are rewarded for their efforts, marking the conclusion of the hunt.
