Interns & volunteers
​Hounds of Rohozec is an officially recognized internship provider, offering placements year-round. We welcome students from both MBO and HBO programs. MBO students can find us on Stagemarkt [link]. Volunteers are also warmly welcomed. Interns and volunteers may join us individually or in pairs, depending on availability—please contact us to confirm.​
The primary tasks for interns and volunteers include training the hounds and horses. There is minimal stable work, as the horses are kept in the field. Interns and volunteers may also assist with the treatment of injuries and wounds. Welcoming and assisting guests is another key responsibility, such as preparing horses and accompanying guests on country rides. Additional duties may include maintaining riding equipment and assisting with field management. Interns and volunteers should be capable riders, able to go on country rides independently. The minimum stay for interns is 6 weeks.

Our fully equipped guesthouse, located just across the street from the stables, offers comfortable accommodation. The guesthouse also has a lovely garden with a barbecue area, perfect for enjoying the summer days.
